Education Bowling Green University, BA University of Toledo, MS Professional Designations The American College CLU® ChFC Professional Organizations Columbus Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors Professional Career Chris began a 30-year career as a teacher, originally as a wrestling coach for high school and went on from there to coach as well as teach on the University level. He was head wrestling coach and assistant football and track coach at Huron high school and he was head-wrestling coach for both Ashland University and Ohio State University. He also taught Anatomy & Physiology, Kinesiology and ballroom dancing at both colleges as well as Coaching Theory courses. Along with his success as a coach and a teacher on a High school and University level, Chris also coached the Junior World Wrestling team in Italy in 1970. He is past president of the National Wrestling Coach Association. Chris was voted the NCAA Wrestling Coach of the year in 1976. Chris is in the athletic hall of Fame for Huron High School, Ashland University and Ohio Wrestling Coaches association and in 1990 was selected as Alumni College Coach for Bowling Green University. In 2002 Chris was named the Silver Letter Award winner for Bowling Green University, which honors athletes who graduated 25 to 50 years ago. At Ashland University, he served as Chairman of the Department of Physical Education of the University as well as on the Long Term Planning Committee and the Curriculum Committee. After a triumphant career as a prestigious athletic member, Chris engaged in the Life Insurance Business with as much enthusiasm. He began his Financial Service career with Columbus Life in 1986 and in 1987 he was elected the number one new agent for Columbus Life. Joining Mass Mutual in 1988, Chris became a Unit Sales Manager and then Investment Specialist as well as Compliance Officer for the Columbus and Cleveland agencies. He embarked on his career with McCloy Financial Mid-Year 2000 as the Investment Specialist and is currently the Compliance Coordinator/Director for McCloy Financial Services. Personal Chris and his wife Georgene have two sons, a daughter and five grandchildren. Chris enjoys fishing, hunting, woodcarving and woodworking, travel, and camping with his family.
